August was a fun month for trips to Utah! I went with Finn in the beginning of the month for a week just to spend time being a daughter again. I loved spending some much needed quality time with my mom and sister Betsy and it was also so fun to spend time with Utah's newest residents: my oldest sis Jessica and my nephew Korbin! We did crafts and spent a lot of time talking it was so much fun, I forgot how magical it was to have your laundry magically clean and folded all "by it's self...?" (love you mom!) We also got to see uncle Moose at college #crazy, and stylishly loose at a badminton tournament at Justin's birthday party. Finn loved catching up with all of his faux auties and uncles. After a great full week I came back to Texas for a week to see my man D and I was on the plane again for our first official "Johnston Family Reunion" I left on Sunday and Daniel came and joined me on Thursday.

1 pair of grandparents, with 7 children, add 6 spouses, and throw in a few grand kids hmmmm only 16!! you get three days of wild, loud, crazy, bonding, F-U-N!! It was indescribable how perfect the weekend turned out. We all stayed up in Ogden in a gorgeous cabin full equip with a well dressed game room and huge theater, right down to a perfectly sized (aka ginormous) dinning room table. With all of our lives going different ways I loved getting together and catching up!

I love the picture of Finn and Michael! Finn's hair looks so much lighter! Sounds like you had a fun time with your family.
